Dear DeSoto County Dream Center Partners,
As the first quarter of 2025 comes to a close, I am continually amazed by how God is working through the Dream Center. Every day, lives are being impacted. Not just through the resources we provide, but through relationships that bring hope! Through the excitement and activity at the Dream Center, I am reminded of Galatians 6:9, which says, “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” Sometimes making a difference can seem slow, but this verse encourages us to stay faithful! We can have confidence that every act of kindness, every meal provided and every moment of mentorship is planting seeds that will bear fruit in God’s perfect timing.
One of the most powerful examples is of a story of a student and his mother below. Our simple connection with this family led to emergency housing support and long term stability. This is what the Dream Center is all about, meeting immediate needs while walking alongside families toward hope and restoration.
Whether it’s a family receiving support in a moment of crisis, a student finding encouragement in the classroom, or a volunteer stepping in to make a difference, each story is a reminder of the power of community and compassion. These stories of impact would not be possible without our incredible volunteers and community partners. The faithful commitment of volunteers or the compassionate care being offered through Trinity Health Center, every part plays a role in bringing dignity and transformation to those we serve.
As we look ahead, we are gearing up for an amazing “Summer of Serving”! Keep an eye out for opportunities to be involved such as our Backpack and School Supply Giveaway, Teacher Appreciation and more.
