From March to October, the DeSoto County Dream Center ministers locally to underserved areas through the Adopt-A-Block program. This outreach allows the immediate needs of individuals to be consistently met, leading to valuable relationships and a brighter future for DeSoto County.

Adopt-A-Block aims to build relationships by providing food and activities, sharing a devotion, and having fun as we meet our community’s needs right where they are. The key to success is consistency, when Adopt-A-Block launches at a specific location, it is a promise to the community that we will be here to serve for years to come. You are invited to serve with us. Multiple Adopt-A-Blocks run monthly throughout DeSoto County. This is a great opportunity for your family to serve together as we play games, cook hamburgers and hot dogs, and form meaningful relationships with residents.

A short informational meeting for volunteers will be held on Monday, March 18th at 6 pm at the Dream Center.
